Historic Community celebrated Museum

2 migrations in a lifetime in the 1800's, would we do that today ? The Museum is a treasure house of fantastic displays and information on the Scottish immigrants who made Waipu home. Follow the dramatic story of one of the most remarkable global migrations. Many of these families descendants still live in Waipu today. A gift shop in the Museum sells Scottish tartan and high quality New Zealand souvenirs. The Waipu Information Centre is housed here too any the helpful staff will be able to help you with any information you require.
